Our old dog, Homer, is spending time this winter hanging out in the house with us. He seems to think this is a pretty good deal. In fact, now he's starting to pose - and you can almost hear his internal dialogue:
"Hey, why wasn't I chosen for the cover of Walking the Dog?"
What do you all think?
Does Homer have cover potential?

Definitely.
"Oh, good. You don't think I look a little Over-the-Hill? I was thinking maybe on a package of Senior Diet dog food." ~ Homer
YES, absolutely!! Such a handsome dog!
Homer is gorgeous! He oozes wisdom and calm maturity. Very unlike my pups...

"Oh, you people are toooo kind, and I thank you for all the compliments. I have gained my share of wisdom over the years (ten or so) and also my short stint on the streets, and then the pound, where Mom rescued me many years ago. I have always been uber-calm, however, which is how I gained the moniker Best. Dog. Ever." ~ Homer
Are you kidding me? He's gorgeous. My 5-year-old lab has had grey hair on his chin for years now, so it's not always indicative of being an old dog. But old dogs are so cool because they have the wisdom of years behind them and that "knowledge" in their eyes.
Not only does Homer have cover potential, he's ready for his own book! And the title should be the title from this post. Think about it, Linda.:)
