The Nap Cat

Fred, our shelter kitten, got his feelings hurt when I posted a picture (see my last post) of a darling sleeping kitten that I borrowed off the internet. No sooner did I mention that Fred never slows down and always zoom-zooms around, he promptly fell into an adorable nap . . .

in my purse.
"I may be 3 1/2 months old now, but I'm still cute too, right?"

*Yawn*

"Right, Mom?"

Personally, I like watching kittens play. My husband and I would grab our morning coffee and watch our kids' two kittens scurry and playfight on our deck every morning.

Looks like he wants to be sure you don't leave without him! What a cutie.

Some people chase kittens the way Don Drapper chases younger women. Don't be this person:)

Cinette - Two kittens are definitely a lot of fun (better than TV.) Even though we don't have another one his own age, Fred plays run, chase, attack with our two other cats, who put up with him (for awhile.) Whenever I try to get a picture of him playing, it just comes out a blur.

Vonna - perhaps he wanted a trip to town, huh?

MG - are you suggesting I'm turning into a cat lady?? LOL Yes, that would be me. Guilty as charged.

I can't believe I spent so much of my life not caring for cats. They're such neat animals. Of course I feel the same way about my goats.

AWWWWWW I love it. Kittens always find a place to snuggle in. A purse, the sink, underneath the rocking chair....

:)
